THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA for the sake of privacy.

** Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf this forum ( [link] ) and browse the lists. Here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.


It's the season for fellow deviants to come together and share some love, and it truly doesn't take much work at all. Come on and make your own wishlist and post it in the forum ( [link] ) and see what happens-- you never know what might be granted.

My Wishlist :
1. For JENNiRADIO --> ([link]) <-- to get some more listeners (around the world) and for it to get on some stations across the country. (America)

2. To get some more acting jobs.

**3. A tablet (or money to buy one)! I don't care what brand, as long as it's good quality and it works with my Mac.

4. Expensive colored pencils. Again, I don't care what brand, Prismacolor, Derwent, whatever, as long as they're good quality and I get a skin colored one.

5. Someone to request an avatar from me. <3 I can only do simple stuff though... (Even more than that, I would love supplies for my other favorite types of art - jewelery making or traditional stuff. I'd love any beads, earring hooks, necklace chains, ect... Or markers, inking pens, a sketch book... )

*6. Some stuff on my item wishlist --> [link] (especially things with * and ***'s, or anything else you guys think I would like.)

7. BEADS! Any beads from here - [link] (especially these - [link] or [link] or her letter beads). Any colorful pony beads, or just any beads at all because I want pony beads for kandi and glass and other beads for other jewelry!

8. Fan-art of my future OC's and cute line-art to use.

9. Everyone to be happy and jolly and joyful this holiday season!! Charitable giving, kindness and overall holiday spirit. (a sub wouldn't be so bad either. )

**10. I would love to go to a con. But with my busy schedule - so not going to happen. We have an RV we could stay in, but we would need gas money and money to get in... (I live in SoCal.)
